High offset rims onto a 73?

Post by gixxerpilot »

Hey guys, wanting to know if I can run a negative 26 offset rim on a FJ73. Looking for the extra track width mainly. The car is currently at standard height but will get a lift in the near future, and the rims I'm looking at are 15 x 8. Any advice is appreciated!

i replaced my 15x7 with 15x8 with the extra 25mm going to the outside without any problems running 33 muds. even ran 15x10 micky thomson alloys with 35 muds, rubed on back outside edge front guards, down near where the mud flap bolts on. veed it out with grinder then welded edge flange back on and put in 32mm body lift
