Engine conversion g13b into sierra- commodore engine mounts?

Post by zookfun »

Pretty sure the search is not working....

Anyways, Im just doing the g13b into a sierra conversion and Im just wondering about the engine mounts.

People have said that you can use the VL commodore ones so I bought a pair and they are basically exactly the same in measurements, but 5mm thicker.

Just wondering if anyone has put these on both sides as this will make it 1cm too tight, also, one of the engine mounts bolts onto the intake manifold bracket which is 4mm thick which means the engine has 14mm less room!

Does it fit? Or should I just try to use the engine mount on 1 side? Thanks

Yeah I got em both sides in mine, but I re-made the engine mounts to lower the motor. 1600 with no BL
