I have talked to an engineer about my doors, and he said as long as I comply to adr's on anti intrusion, door handles and hinges all is OK. eg no anti intrusion on GQ's, I use GQ handles and hinges, all cool.

That is the stock set up on a Jeep wrangler and has been all through the CJ days where they ticked the option for doors most had none

As Cheesy said as long as you match the adr side intrustion for the model used should be fine

I spoke to my engineer this week and he stated that there must be a handle both inside and out. These, as well as the hinges (and any applicable anti-intrusion) are ADR approved and it is easier to reuse the original ones. Also the window (if there is one) must be removable/retractable.

That is in Queensland.

I also asked him about running no doors at all and he said that there is a strong argument to suggest that this would be possible but "you'd have to argue you way around that one"
