spring over means the spring sits on top of the axle as opposed to the spring under the axle, like in the leaf sprung cruisers

the ones I put in after I broke one sit fairly flat, just a slight curve. But not sure on the newer ones tho. Being a 07 wouldn't still be under warranty?

yes well the ones on it now just have a slight curve, nothing too big though!
Mate i am not really sure, not really if there the stock springs either!
Any way of figuring out by looking at them or something?

they are probably just stock height and slightly sagged. if you want more height replace them, if you dont want more height then dont bother.

yes well i would like more height so i will probly put new ones in!

because they are stock ones and if they have sagged which is more than likely, than if i put a 2" suspension lift kit in it does that mean it will be lifted more than the 2 inches??

usually yes. suspension particularly on jap 4wds sags. fact of life, but your new stuff will sag too, or 'settle' as many suppliers call it. a 2 inch lifted truck wont be stuipidly high so i wouldnt worry about it, but it would not suprise me if it was 3-4 inches taller the day you fitt a 2 inch lift kit. which would probably settle an inch or so in the first few months.

what do you mean by "jap 4wds" as you mentioned this in your last post??

no no i wasnt worryed about the extra lift i was just curious to know if it will be higher than the 2" kit....

so i am guessing if it does sag or settle in the first few months than this is totally normal??

New 4x4 suspension like lux's run an almost flat leaf pack standard, There is no way your leafs need replacing at only 2 years old unless you've carried 700kgs around all it's life.

as berad wrote, yours should not be stuffed, but if you want more lift then...

japanese made 4wds like nissan and toyota are renound for having suspension which loses alot of height over time. not sure if its the same with the modern ones.

all suspension settles a bit after install, new or used. but some do it more than others, and individual ones from the same companies seem to settle more than others.

some people have had their new suspension just continue to sag and its useless quite soon - this is not normal. but can be hard to get support with. but thats rare.

The standard springs can't handle the constant weight of a steel tray. You needs springs to suit.

would i be better off replacing my springs with a sutible weight load for the tray and bit more gear??
OR
sould i just get my leafs re-conditioned and an extra leaf added??
