horsecollar crossmember xtra cab hilux vs surf

Post by cplux »

Hi.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference in height and/or shape location of the horsecollar crossmember on an import '93 model 2L-TE surf as opposed to my current yn67 '2/88 hilux xtracab.

Reason for question is at the moment i run 35mm drivetrain lift and high pinion diffs meaning the tailshaft is pretty close to the crossmember if i load the tray with anything heavy, and I am looking at doing the same on a surf

Can anyone see any other problems

Cheers

2lte is based on a 3l which i guess is in your other truck, so long as the gearbox's are both manual or both auto they will be the same.
