hi all
about 3 months ago now, i turned of my gq, and the butterfly clip from the vacumm line of the alternator, pierced the suction line of my A/C, and pissed out all my gas. not, i have finaly gotten around to replacing it now doe to summer aproaching, but when it happened, i had a replacement line ready to go, but the seller, changed their mind, so now i am getting it redone, and a new line made for it, i pulled it off the other day, and there was some dirt inside the thread fitting of the compressor, how do i clean it out, so that it dosent ruin my compressor?
cheers

are you going to gas this up yourself or are you taking it to a shop.
i think you could pull your compressor of turn it upside down and let all the oil drain out of it and see if you can get the dirt out that way and see if any dirt comes out with the oil. or if you are really concerned take to an a/c shop or auto lec and get them to strip it down and clean it. but this might be hard as from memory the arc dont like things being pulled apart and rebuilt.
