It Drives!!!!
Greg came over last night for a bit of a mid week spanner spinning session.
~ Bolted in the new 6:1 chrome tcase
~ Fitted up all the drive shafts, this was where the problem lay waiting. The jack shaft uni was shagged so we used one of my spares (Complete jack shaft) only to find that the flange was different (88's have smaller flanges like NT's) so we had to whip a flange off another piece of unused tail shaft to fit it up, both Greg and I now both know the intimate inner details of zook uni's.
~ Tightened up all the front end (Left loose after the chassis ext.
~ Bled the breaks and adjusted the clutch and away we went.
A quick spin around the block with no doors, windscreen, bikini bar or tail lights also revealed a strange burning smell which we worried to be a shorted wire but soon found a split heater hose (Because of the body lift)
Low range was coool with 29's however I'm picking up my rims this morning and will hopefully fit the swampers to them tomorrow morning, still need to paint some remaining panels and work out a small fuse blowing problem (tonight)
Still looking a posibility for a bit of a run on saturday but but no t not a strong possibility.

Picked up the rims today, I hope to drop them in to be fitted on the way to work tomorrow.
Preped the windscreen surroun as well as the bonnet for painting (Tuesday) just need to prep the doors, work out the small electrical problem, fit the new heater hose and all should be well for some driving to and from work next week.

Note: 0.5 inches would be explained by the larger tyre diameter - but the rest is because his new springs are very springy

as soon as Big Steve gets in it .. it will be .5 of an inch lower than yours
