Has any thought ever been given to adding a section on the main forum index that could list contact details of members who supply gear or suppliers that members have used and can recommend?

Not looking for something that people can abuse but similar to redzook, I would rather support others who provide support through these forums.

Before people jump on me re the links section . . . actually organising it a little bit under some headings would probably make it a whole lot more useful - I read the first dozen or so and then loose interest in looking any further.
