Getting some new rims for the GQ and i thought i read somewhere that landcruiser offset was better when running 35's, i currently have 60 series landcruiser offset rims on it and they seem to be fine.
im only running 285/75/16 at the moment but next set off tyres will probably 35's so would like to plan ahead.
so really would like to know if there are any disadvantages or advantages of patrol offset VS landcruiser offset on a GQ

rim offset
I have live axel hilux offset 8" rims and 35-12.5-15's on my gu.
good points.
Look tough, dont hit the inner guards when at full articulation, althou very close.
Bad points.
because they are wider, If a cop was picky they could say the tires hang just out side the flares, altho i have never been questionsed on this when pulled up. They thow mud everywhere, all over the car, windows, roof ect so makes a mess.
