Replacing Wheel Studs

Hi All,

After driving for a short distance and realising that my wheel nuts were coming loose on my passenger front wheel, I have noticed that the thread on the wheel studs is a bit damaged.

I'm thinking about replacing them so here's a few questions i'm hoping someone might have answers for:

1. How easy is this job?
2. Will NT and WT studs be exchangable?
3. Is it worth doing? They appear to do up okay as is.

The studs are pretty cheap (2 or 3 $$ each from memory ) Simply punch the old ones out (can do this with a hammer, normally are not that hard) and slip the new ones in and tap it home (sit the hub in the rim to do this)

I can give youa more detailed explaination if you need it .. but if you have a look you will see how easy it is ..

out of curiosity .. have you had your wheels off recentlly ?? If not may be worth investing in somethink to keep em a bit more seecure from tyre takeing rodents ..

I have had one off recently...

I do run lock nuts - so don't bother coming around to my place when i'm not there

Though i must admit that if they did walk it would be a good excuse to upgrade again
