75 series 35s hit exhaust, turbo kits questions

Post by 87 Turbo Hilux »

my mates got a 75 series with 4inch suspension 2inch body.. we just put a set of 35s on it with sunraisers with a 40mm offset. the tyres just misses the back of the wheel arch and rubs the extacters when he turns right(not flexed).. does anybody with the same sort of set up have the same problem and does anybody know of any turbo kits that dont run the dump pipe or exhaust down through the wheel arch.

you can get your own rear turbo housing flange laser cut out 1 10mm plate and a 8 mm thick plate to miss the waste gate and then weld your exhaust to that and run it inside your chassis
i think i have pics if you let me know how to post em up

What engine champ, might be a little easier to help you?

My 2H with turbo runs the exhaust on the inside of chassis, my mates late model 75 with 4.5l petty runs his on the inside of the chassis as well using extractors (non turbo).
If its not upside down and on fire, I'm not trying hard enough.......

its just the 2h engine. does a denco or a turbo glide turbo kit run the exhaust they can supply down through the chassis.

The one on mine runs down inside the chassis. Mine is a low mount though.

Bangers on here has a high mount turbo on his 2H and I am pretty sure his runs inside the rail as well.
