RB30 Alternator

Post by Havoc »

Hi Guys
I've tried searching but didn't really come up with what i was after, my alternator is on the way out (reco'd one) and i'm wanting to update it to a bugger one if possible?
Just wondering what others have used and easily fitted to this engine? I've heard a VL one will fit but not sure of what top mount to use and the wiring, is it the same as the nisssan one.
I think the VL one are 75A so i may be able to gat a Bosch one and get the auto sparky to trick it up. What do you guys think?
Cheers Trent

the normal bosch style alt's bolt on, you can get wiring plug adapters that just plug it in. im running a 120 A one on my 30.
