best place to mount air compressor
guys bought an arb air compressor for zook 94 swb soft top.
Just wondering where is the best place to mount them. I was thinking on passenger side of front wheel arch. Does anyone have pics of mounting points?? Cheers

94 zook, 2" body lift, 30.5" bfg muddies, custom bar, warn 8000, 240 XGT's, extractors and 2" exhaust.
I recently bought a projecta dual head cheapy off of ebay... was a bit bigger than I expected. Going to put it on the passenger side of front wheel arch but have to relocate the filters on it otherwise it doesn't quite squeeze in..

Here is what I did with my cheap eBay one:
I just removed the bottom 'tray' that the compressor was attached to, and made some simple brackets to bolt it through the wheel arch. It works great (I had to silicone up the gap where the head gasket was SUPPOSED to be though You get what you pay for I guess...)

Yes, my arb compressor is on the passenger wheel arch too. I used the supplied rectangular plate as a template to drill 4 holes through the top of the arch on the flattest part where the compressor would fit. then It basically bolted in, and I have the ability to rotate it around on the supplied base. Pretty easy really. Yes some thread sticks through into the wheel arch, but its short and my wheels cannot touch them.
Crap picture, doesn't show where the bolts are, but its essentially all I got:
