Air Con Compressors - HJ61 Sahara

Post by stumpyGU »

Howdy,

My A/C compressor just siezed on my HJ61 Import Sahara and I was wondering what the go is with finding a replacement seeing as the Imports run 24V electrics? Can off-the-shelf comps run off 24V?

Any input appreciated.

Cheers.

Are you sure all the electrics are 24volt? I thought it was just the starting circuit.

Just get a new compressor to suit, and change the coil from your old compressor to the new one. Pretty easy to do.

probably get the original one rebuilt if you have a good compressor place over ther. If not, try this place:

they did mine and I was very happy with the price and service.
