Have checked out the track this weekend and will have to make some changes this year as access to the dinner hole has been closed off through the State forest section...
so each run will be down to the old finish line and back to the start line again... there will be something on the back of the turn around tree to note to make sure you go all the way.

I have also added a saturday afternoon run but you can drop one of your saturday daylight runs so the best time out of the two counts.

[this also mean if you don't want to do two saturday daylight runs you don't have to: EG in case you need to do repairs etc]

The Saturday night run is compulsory but if you break and can't complete the track then and only then can you use your two saturday daylight times.

The finals on Sunday Morning will also be run from start to the end and back again.

so does that mean that the track is twice as long? Can you update the drawing at the top Shane?

Yep ... the track is now twice as long as you drive from the start to the dinner hole then back to the start/finish line again.

You can drive it but not race it as there may be others checking out the track at the same time.

you can drive it but you have to go down and back up again as there is no exit at the other end any more.

Quick question for those that have driven/competed on the course, is it advisable to have a winch?

You wont need a winch, but we winched last year when we blew a front tyre and couldnt get any traction on the wet rocks. Also winched it from falling into a water hole on the drivers side when we lost steering (if it was the passenger side to fall i probably would have tried to drive it) :D
