I'd say no. There is some pretty full on stuff in the creeks there and you would struggle big time in a stocker. But there are also chicken tracks that you could use around the harder bits.

Most of the tracks are new. Patrol hill and permission hill will be included. No one seems to have driven permision hill so it's a little lose.

The stockers can come but they will have to use the chicken tracks. Some of the tracks they just won't drive. One of the tracks my blue car doesn't like and decided to go to sleep. It's a bugger trying to put a car on it's wheels when your by yourself.

5pm will be the time to register.

Night Run

Post by stinger »

Okay I know I have been busy lately a not following the forums much but Scenic Rim Adventure Park???? I was thinking this was someone organising a night run through some tracks around the place.....

Where did SRAP come from??? Found their website and after finally finding a map of how to get there I got the distinct impression that this is where City View was/is....

Can some shed some light on this for me????

It covers some of the old cityview but is in no way affiliated with it when it was running. theres many more tracks made available. The entrance is the same as when you went to city view!

Yes 35's are fine. I have driven some of the tracks and marked the virgin tracks with glow in the dar paint. (see if it works.) No one can claim first breakage as I win that. Thanks to 11evl for driving to BD to help me with my busted diff tonight.

We will not be turning away people. I have been asked the timing and people can obvioulsy leave at any time but we are planing on 5-9pm first section and 9:30-1am second section.

Even though i didn't take my old heap out there i had a ball!!!

Thanks Dougie for the lift out and home and to Linc for the run

Ruff, expect an invoice from Linc for one lower control arm because your jack handle wasn't strong enough for Linc's driving style (throttle to the floor, check, engine making strange noises, check, step off the clutch,CHECK)

Thanks Brendan hopefully I'll have mine going for the next one

Maybe you should have gone the star picket after all Linc? :D

How'd you sort the fuel pick up? We were trying to raise you on the UHF to see if you needed a hand.

Well done Brenden, top run.

Invoice is in the mail Tony. Well despite the fuel issue, despite the rear panhard rod, despite the lower control arm, despite the exhaust , despite the passenger door, etc, etc,etc (need I go on) I had a great night with a bunch of good blokes (and you Barb).

Was good to catch up with some of the boys I have not seen for a while also.

Ray you terrorist you are not welcome to wheel with me anymore...........it costs me control arms every time you are around me
Cheers
