Rear ifs swap in 96' lux. How do you get front same width?

Post by BlueSuzy »

Hey all. I'm normally in the suz section but a mate is using me for his research..

He has a stock 2.8d 96' live axle single cab hilux.

He has an IFS WT rear diff to go into the rear and he wants to make the front the same width.

Is it true you need hub spacers as i have searched in other threads?

Some cok put it in his head that all you need is ifs front hubs and bolt on away you go. Surely it cant be that easy..

Where can one purchase these spacers as other threads links are gone.

Can someone direct him in the right direction. Please!!

hey its true all you have to do is use ifs front hubs its not that simple though you need to make up a bracket to space out the callipers. wheel spacers are illegal to use on road !!!!!!
