can any one tell me how to check timeing and adjust as i have a bad flat spot and surge when changes gears (auto elec overdrive) or is there any ather reason it does this. also can any one recomend tyre pressure on road for city driveing in brissy qld

hey mate... thought that the v6 were individual coil not distributor.. so no adjustment. but i could be wrong.

i would start by cleaning the throttle body with carby clean and changing the plugs, leads, fuel filter and air filter (if not done recenlty) and see if that makes a difference

i run 32psi in most cars.. it comes down to how you like them.. and what size tyre you are running.

experiment a little bit thats what i did and found what i like..

for example a mate runs like 20 psi all the time in his sierra and really like the way it drives, then i like my sierra to be at 28 psi.. both have the same mods and same tyres
