I have run both lights and I have distroyed the roo lights (220's) when a bird hit them, the light force (XGT's & 240 Blitz's) have taken a few direct hit from birds and other small wild life and survived!

At the rate they are being stolen lately, I would never buy them again.

I haven't used any other brand of spotlight for more than 6 years now, but I can say that I am very happy with my Lightforce 240 Blitz. On a clear night on a highway a remote area, I can see the markers beside the road for up to 2.5km in front of me (I used to occasionally measure this). They are a great light, and Australian made too. The only thing that I don't really like about the Lightforce is that because they are so lightweight they can bounce around a bit on bumpy roads meaning that I have to re-adjust them more often than my older spotties that I had. I did hit a Kangaroo once (I hit it at a low speed and he just kept bouncing along). It broke the bottom mount of one of my spotties, but the good thing was that I just replaced it with the part I needed instead of buying a whole new light like you would have to do with some other brands.

If you want to ask what people would recommend, why limit your options to a two way race with (yet another) poll????

Try looking around this site at what others have already said to the hundreds of other similar questions, before posting.

yes i agree the xgt lightforce are the way to go. ive got 6 on my bullbar (2 inside and 4 on top) and its F***ing awesome, you can see absolutely anything!

Jack S, on the 17 Oct. you had 6 xgt's mounted on your lux, now you are asking if $926 is a good price for 4, do you want 10 or are you another BUTFEST.

What, no camera on your phone?, No $100 cheepie camera for someone that can afford ~$1000 on lights for his 2 year old 4X4???

Ask me, I can honestly say I know "Jack S***"

here's some useful info.

Take the internet with a pinch of salt and clean your vagina every once and awhile. You will be a lot more tolerant.

Now re: lights, if indeed you have 6 lightforce, projecting killer amounts of light from your vehicle then you probably should tell your mate to get them, cause if they were no good you would be foolish to have soo many right?
