5 speed behind 15B

Post by Frankenyota »

Am looking at getting a BJ40 late '79 with 4 speed.
Want to build a 15B and run a H55F 5 speed.

What i would like to know is can i use the bell housing and input shaft from the 4 speed and fit it to the 5 speed?

Cheers

bellhousing will work

the input shaft i'm not sure on, but you could use the 5 speed input shaft from the 5 speeds that came behind 3b's

i vaguely remember hearing you need a clutch from a Dyna to make it work. Someone has done this before on this board.

Don't have the bellhousing from the 15B dyna.
It is a two piece set up.
Hoping i can use the bellhousing and starter from the B motor?
