Will a 80 series high pinion centre fit in a 82 model Hilux front housing?

i am lead to believe that they are interchangeable. I also believe that the hilux's have the same diff front and rear! But you will have to get a couple more to confirm that!

Thanks, I just wasnt certain that the early hilux was the same stud pattern and size as the later ones..

Reason I ask is that I have a 82 hilux housing, theres a 4.88 high pinion bundera centre available, and I thought I could do something creative with these parts in SOA configuration in one of my 40s.. The housing measures the same width as a 40 front housing, so it would make a good swap for high pinion SOA..
