about time i built a comp truck
ok im thinkn bout putn my troll back to standard and using as a tow car and biulding a suzuki serria chop into tray back ute, hilux diffs, 3links, full hydro steer, coil overs, superchatged v6 commy motor and auto box with hilux transfer and reduction gearing, ofcourse all sorta bar work,
OK heres my questions: are the advantages of running all wheel steer realy worth it for this kind of biuld, will hilux diffs with lockers handle 40x13.5inch rubber this is about the biggest id wna put on it. what dia hose are people useing to run a rear radiator?

Blown ls1 GQ winch truck. and GU tow car / daily
I had a V6 with bunderia & surf difs under my feroza, & I kept breaking diffs & diff centers, until I went to GQ/GU running gear. with a suzi body & chassi it will be lighter than my old FATROZA, you probably wantneed the supercharger.... try it without first.... you will be shocked at how much power it will have....
I ran imported 4.88 ratios from Italy & a standard hilux trany to tricked up auto.... she would pull 130klm in low range before she hit the rev limiter.
& that was with 35"s...

sorry wasnt shure where i should have put it as im jus thinking at the moment ive gt enough cash up finaly to do an engine conversion and fnrt and rear lockers in my troll but after getting defected a few months back put that on hold. And as for buying a pre done truck i get half my enjoyment from biulding my trucks any reason to hang out in the shed with a grinder and welder is good for me. Whats the chassie strength like on the suzukis? and where could i find the guide lines wich i should biuld by to be able to comp it?

jump to the suzuki tech section - plenty of info on diffs there.
Generally you're better going MQ diffs. If you're going to the effort of changing, might as well do it properly and go all the way!
You can shave a ton off an MQ diff too! there were pics floating around somewhere.

The worst thing about censorship is ███████.
hi ive built a car similar to what you have planned and are finding that the lighter zooks seem to be more capable than mine with the heavy v6 and patrol diffs but the power is so much fun.Ive foung mq diffs wont stand up to large tyres on rocks with a heavy foot with the v6 but a 1.6 doesnt seem to bother them.
