Better tyres for different applications

Post by Tristo4.0 »

My fiancé and I are looking to buy a 4WD for my work/ play car and we were wondering what is the better tyre and for what application. We have bfgoodrich mud terrain 265/75r 16
for a general off road tyre eg: dirt roads, sand, very little mud (basically what you find on a farm near the coast), sloppy mud (like you would find in the Otways) and snow.

Prices and pictures/links would be greatly appreciated

i ran cooper STTs for a few years and as an all rounder they were brilliant.

so they get my vote.

do a search for "tyre topic" - theres a main thread that links to info on specific tyre brands and all are worth reading when you're making such an expensive decision!
