Post by chugga »

I have a problem with my electricals and need your opinion what might cause it.
When I put my foot on the brake my front parking lights come on. Any ideas?

might be a blown brake light globe with a broken filiment causing the voltage to go through your broken filiment and earthing out on the tail light filiment causing voltage to run all through your parker/tail light system. Long story short - could be a brake light globe out

Many "weird" electrical issues are bad/broken earth connections - as the rear brake bulb is a dual filament (park and brake ) a faulty earth can backfeed to the parkers.

Just as you describe
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.
