ok so for the time being we will run lux springs, as we can get about a dozen leaf packs for a slab so we have plenty to experiment with. will work out later what shocks (compression and extension wise) we will need, however what is the general consensus? i know commie wagon shocks are used but i measured the gabriel ones up at work and they only had 9" of travel

I beg to differ, there's a few factory ute sierra's running around with internal roll cages in SE QLD and they fit well, the key to them is having a good cage builder to make nice tight bends that dont cramp on cabin spacegrimbo wrote:you wont fit an internal cage and people into a Ute cab.

dont know what the 34 JTs are like, but my 31 ETs needed tubes - mud kept getting into the bead and leaking air... I notice my ET's get a nice flat spot overnight too =) haha first few km in the morning is a nice wobble till they round out or i do over 80km/hr (rotational force/heat).

I'd hardly call it useless... You try driving one in victoria in winter with out it!alien wrote:the hose off the manifold is useless anyway - it just channels warm air to the air box for cold starts =)
Looks like this is going to be a nice build up!
As far as an indecent proposal goes, I'd accept nothing less than $100,000 to tolerate buggery. Any less and it's just not worth the psychological trauma.
Good thing both of them are in WA then heyRuffy wrote:I'd hardly call it useless... You try driving one in victoria in winter with out it!alien wrote:the hose off the manifold is useless anyway - it just channels warm air to the air box for cold starts =)
