GQ Auto - Search no good

Post by guerd87 »

Hi guys,

Just tried searching for simple GQ Auto tech and search doesnt seem to be working. Either im a dickhead or its stuffed. Put in 'gq auto' in Nissan forum with no results, and even tried 'auto' in Nissan forum with no results, WTF!!??

Anyway, since its not working im after some general tech on the GQ auto behind a 4.2 petrol. Im in the market to buy another 4wd, looking at this setup.

Whats common problems with the auto's? How long do they last and how strong are they? I dont really want to get another manual, as my last 4WD was manual. After going 4WD with my old boss in his 3L GU auto it has changed my mind.

So yea, any general information on them, what can i expect out of them and what should i look for?

Also, is the GQ auto good for towing? and do they have factory auto coolers?

Any help appreciated,
cheers
John

that's how any search engine works, you need to include all terms in your search which the inclusion of AND or the ** does. Also searches are only as good as the info they have to search through, so when people can't be bothered searching and just start another thread it makes it harder to find the right info. Then you have the nuff nuff spelling and txt spk which just screws things up even more.
