SoT will be on the last weekend of Feb (27th/28th).

Prices have not been set but will be similar to last year (possibly a very slight increase due largely to an increase in site costs)

Details should be out in the next few weeks - we are just getting over the work of Classic Trials and are about to focus on SoT.

Cheers

you can run max of 33inch tyres with no beadlocks.
Looks like i might enter the runner in it, drop back to 33s, take the extended shackles out and swap the locked centre for an open one.
Max of 4inch lift combined suspension and bodylift.
Cheers

Hey chloe,
you have front and rear air lockers hey?
I'll be in the climb for cash for sure :D
and Tony, I would consider bigger tyres for the lux as you would be in the same class as me.
Cheers

Yeah mate ill be running 33s and taking out my extended shackles.
Can I just leave one of the front hubs unlocked?
because its an auto locker.
Saves time and hassle pulling it out and putting it back in.

Standard - which means just that. Oh OK, we'll let you have a bullbar, towbar, driving lights and that sort of stuff, but you must have original tyres (or at least tyres of the original size).

Touring - for the modified vehicles. Modifications are limited to:

Tyres - maximum of 33 inches - vehicle must have four of them which are required to remain in close contact with the ground for the entire event. This is real easy for us to check. If your tyres are bigger than 33 inches, either:
change them before you come down to River island;
take them off and run on your rims (not recommended); or
our patented Husqvana tyre trimmer (a.k.a. chain-saw) will remove those pesky few extra inches (also not recommended
Suspension/Body lift - we say a maximum of 4 inches combined. For those of you mathematically challenged, 4 is less than 4.5 or 5, so if your car is higher, think about it (or we could use the Husqvana suspension trimmer (again, not recommended)).
Other Mods

Diff Locks - if you have them, make sure we have some way of verifying that you CAN NOT use them during the event - we consider them to be cheating and their use results in automatic disqualification and a good spanking - so there!
Non-factory forced induction systems or replacement engines (If you have one, well we won't take it out, but be prepared for a slap on the wrist etc. etc.)
Fluffy Dice if fitted, cannot exceed 5cm x 5cm x 5cm dimensions
Bead Locks - a real no-no Well make you run on bare rims if we see them.
Hydraulic suspension, rear wheel steering etc- why are you here? Go to the Nissan Trials
If you need to tow your competition vehicle onto the site, it probably means that it is not eligible to compete anyway, so leave it on the road and enter your towing vehicle.

Tony you will be in the touring class as you have 2inch BL and 31s as hiluxes came out on 30s.

Cheers

I have a 2inch bodylift
2inch spring lift
and 200mm eye to eye shackles that give me another 2inch lift.
Take out the shackles that equals 4inches.
The combined 4 inches doesnt include tyres.
Cheers

Ill be entering the Paj this year! 2" body, 2" suspension and 33's! Is this all legit? And what do you mean by all wheels must be in close contact with the ground, i drive a Paj this means plenty of front wheel airtime!!!

So get the events at SOT done on the Saturday, stay overnight then beetle up the freeway to EC for the 4x4 Masters. Only problem may be actually getting access to EC - Powercruise weekend.

Choices, choices!

Mrs D will be coming with me as weve managed to score a babysitter for the weekend, but shes on camera duty.
So Im asking if anyone that will be there for the weekend can help me out, Im after a timekeeper/navi for the driving stages, in return I can help you out by doing the same.
If anyone will be there by themselves, can you please let me know.
