Hey all.
i have a 85 LJ70 2.4 turbo diesel bundera. Today i noticed it has started to piss out a fair bit of diesel when idling coming from the fuel pump. I did some reading and found out the o-rings in the top of the fuel pump are the usually the problem. i could only find info on the 2L-TE (newer model with different fuel pump) and not just the 2L-T. has anyone else had this problem? if so were u able to fix the problem with the pump still in place or didu have to pull it out and how hard was it? from the looks of it, it is the o-rings that have failed as the diesel comes from the top of the pump. any info would be greatly appreciated
cheers.
