MK triton help

Post by mk ute »

Hi guys,

Just purchased my first 4wd, a 98 MK dual cab. What I am after, is can anyone post up a couple of pics of where the wires run through from the body to the doors in the models with electric windows/central locking etc. I have a 4 door locking kit, as well as a couple of speakers to fit into the front doors, but I cant find any blank grommets. I am not opposed to drilling holes, but I would like to know approximately where the factory wires run.

I trust that this will be the first of many questions, and look forward to your help. I hope to get some pics up soon in the members ride section.

Cheers

Tim

Yes.Had the same problem with my 99 club cab.
I'm sure holes were drilled approx half way up the door.
I used the rubber sausage thingy that came with my locking kit removed
doors, drilled holes, feed wires(plus speaker wires).
Works out ok.
