60 ute chop, how much???

Post by phil94delica »

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone on here has done a 60 series ute chop into a dual cab. I am just toying with the idea at this stage but if anyone has been doen this path and has some ideas on dollar amout a little info would be much appriciated.

There is one in Redland Bay around the corner from my place that is pretty much what I would be after but I dont want to just knock on there door. Its a brown one that I think was rolled a while back, ( well it had a tarp over it for a while) Just incase they are on here, Hi.

Just thinking out loud for now but it would be cool

Thanks
Phil.

search around.

You can do it for $500 to $15000

do you want :
engineeres tick ?
extended wheelbase ?
factory finish ?
what tray ?
metallic paint ?
quality or low budget roughie ?
flat slab back wall or rounded edges ?
what back window ?
do you want - rear demist ? rear wiper/washer ?
where do your fuel fillers end up ?
how much do you want to carry weght wise and length wise ?

Im going a GU dual cab currently - with me shopping around and a bit of DIY - around $4K.
