front tires probably blew in the collision. however what's probably more important is the missing right rear wheel. the other's, especially the front survived the impact but the rear didn't ??
could have easily had the rear rim come off and got thrown into the oncoming traffic.
could have been muiltable other things.
just hope its no one from here.

That front left tyre definitely looks like it blew out, when tyres get punctured in accident they normally just tear but that one looks like its blown right out while it was still spinning. Dunno what the go is with the rear wheel missing.

Maybe the towie took the wheel off to make it slide better up the tray. Who knows.

I am leaning towards vehicle either unoccupied or occupant thrown clear.
The missing b pillar is confusing. But I am browsing on my phone so hard to see.
As it dosent look like anyone was cut out. As body retrival cuts a pretty rough and large areas of the car would be removed. But then again they could of just been dragged out.

Maybe the person did get flung and wasnt conscious for questioning. Cut it up to see if anyone is inside.

A pallet with a solidiied ally lump on it went through auction. Tittle said unknown make, fire damaged. It was a motor bike at some stage.

Looks like the road rescue crew have cut away the B pillar on the drivers side as it is lying on the ground next to the car in this picture.

Tyre destruction is also consistent with extreme impact trauma as in a head on, not neccessarily related to just blowing out prior to the crash.

At first I thought it was a GQ with GU rims, then on closer inspection, I realised it was a GU... big accident.

One thing to point out with the wreck, don't know if anyone else noticed or not, but this wasn't a direct head on, the chassi at the front is wrapped around to the passenger side with bumper still attached, i'd guess picked a fight with a train at a crossing and or something simmilar and lost, cause whatever hit it from the side would have to be big, and i don't think it flipped cause the trailer is wedged under the back with tarp still attached, therefore the i doubt it flipped as the tarp would at least be more damaged, looks like both front wheels have been torn from the rims in the same direction too. Just a thought but ye, looks like somthing big and fast hit the front end either from the side or at least at an angle.

There was somebody in the 4wd when it crashed because the air bag went off. An air bag wont go off unless your wearing a seat belt.

I have had a 100 series in a big acco, and the passenger side bags went off, despite nobody sitting in the seat at all. Even the firing pins in the seatbelt went and it was fully retracted? Please explain?

For most newer cars the seat belts have to be on, which tells the car which air bags to set off along with the censers for the air bags to go off. This is also supposed to stop people leaning to close to the dash in the case of an accident. This also stops all 12 airbags going off in for of the mercs or lexus's which may have had only a minor hit.

Some of the older cars such as the 100 series and older patrols will more then likely set off both bags on a front ender but i've never seen them go off on a parked car even the older ones. I'd inagine having a car parked is no different to removing the fuses to the air bag.

looking at the second picture down ,I would guess it has been hit front drivers side front guard,and pushed against something solid like an underpass concrete wall ,have a look at the area around the front number plate very very flat,like it has been sandwiched between what hit it and something very solid and flat with no give in it,the angle of the trailer tell a lot about what happened,I would say it has been definitely hit from drivers front area and pushed a fair way till it hit something solid (consistent with a train crossing and not keeping behind the safety line on the road) as the trailer is virtually has no damaged bar the obvious from what looks like being dragged sideways,the trailer tell more of the story than the patrol
