3 speed auto rebuild
3 speed auto rebuild
anyone know where i can get a rebuilt 3 speed gearbox or rebuild kit from? mine slips badly until warm driving me crazy.
Any auto trans shop will be able to deal with the 3 speed - It's been used in holdens forever. I've been quoted about $600 for a rebuild (not drive - in drive-out - that was supply trans only to workshop)

Re: 3 speed auto rebuild
New fluid correct level (trans warm motor running) .. will most likley be OK .. way cheaper give that a try prior to forking out for a rebuild you may not need.dmould66 wrote:anyone know where i can get a rebuilt 3 speed gearbox or rebuild kit from? mine slips badly until warm driving me crazy.

I'd echo others comments about getting it rebuilt as opposed to DIY.
Autos are complex beasties / require special tools / and a nice clean environment to do properly.
Rebuild or second hand ( assuming the replacments not crap ) would be my choice.
