I think they canned the night drive this year?

is that track with the big log going to be wet or dry?
thats looking easy in the dry, but if that gets rutted out could lead to some wild side angles.

No Night drive this year. We are hoping to get stages 1 & 2 over by about 4pm. We have built a travel ramp that will be running from 4 to 7pm( we have a 7pm competition curfew). The details are still to be finalized, but at least 1 car from each team can have ago (40 cars)at $5.00 per car. Half the money collected will go to Movember and the winner gets the other half.

Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.

I say leave the ford/nissan where it is and let the r/c lads drive over it after the 7pm curfew, $5 per starter, half proceeds to Movember and half to the winner

Tracks look great, you have done a top job, again. Looking forward to the drive. :D :D :D :D :D

We have had a last min withdrawal PAUL SEMMENS & SHANE BAKES from Allcoast will not be competing.

The weather forcast is for a fine weekend, not too hot, around 25-26 nights will be a bit cool around 10-11 and we wont be able to have any fires again.

After having Toyota Australia hire "Toperi Park" for the national release of the new Prado, where they drove some small sections of the comp tracks, we can now start running out our bunting and make it really look like something big is about to happen.

There will be merchadise displays, coffee all weekend, ice cream, full canteen, the best looking comp shirts ever, a free jumping castle for the kids.

The weather looks like being just nice, not too hot, and dry.

See you all next weekend.

After the Prado launch today some of us reckon Toperi Park should have a name change to Toyota Park [img][/img]

The fires arent too far away, it is bone dry here at the moment, we need a little rain this week. They are saying it might be a bit cool Sat night, but we have got no chance of having a fire. The days will be great though.

There will Toilets, Showers so the camping will be good.

Some evil person went mad in a excavator today just to toughen it up a lil more.
