Yes if you can enter both cars. You'll just have to ensure some one has access to your car when you are driving the other one incase the car needs to be moved.

WINCH CHALLENGE

We will start with production class.

35" tyres, beadlocks allowed
Low mount, high mount or PTO winch, no air free spool, no dual motors.
Similar rules to Extreme winch challenge XWC
Because it is a timed event competitors will need race insurance. Just phone up your insurace company to send you a copy because you can't run without it.

For more powerful engines we will just do a points penalty.

We will be doing a Saturday morning run, a Saturday night run right in front of where we are having dinner and a Sunday morning run.

It will be a relaxed fun event.

It is $90 for the 2 days. You can just run the Saturday or just the Sunday if you wish. We will be doing a prize.

Matt Moore will be running it and will be posting up rules soon. For interested parties please post here or phone Matt on 0419 782 442

Cheers
Shane

You may take several years but eventually you will get use to the constant ownage. It is because they love you and want your attention.

I'm very interested in this. So i'm guessing that it will be run concurrently with the existing program of competition on that weekend? Will my entry fees for the existing comp cover this comp? You've seen the specs on my truck, if i drop down to my brother's 33's can i then compete in both events or will it be too hard to try and get to both event's stages (particularly if i will be having to change tyres between comps)

Roll cage? or will my roll bar on the tray be enough? window nets, helmets and harness's?

WINCH CHALLENGE

You could definitely do the night stage on Saturday.

You don't need a roll cage for our production class but you will need helmets and window nets.

I would prefer you have a harness but not compulsary.

Brendan

Can you put me in touch with some of the photography people you were talking about please? I'd like to have a chat to them about some of the videography ideas i have and some of the shots i'd like to get. And also to confirm that they're cool with it in case i have to organise some others to do the video work for me.

To everyone else, i have managed to get a hold of some in-car mounts for cameras. Can i have a bit of a show of hands who might be interested in having a cam in their car during some of the stages?

cheers

Roll cage mount is probably best as the suction cup ones need a flat surface, which i noticed you have very little left on your car 11_evl :finger:

I will be using my own cameras and tapes. They can go on rear windscreens inside facing forward, on internal roll cages, grab handles or on any other smooth surface that will hold a suction cup

Guys i'm also looking at doing a couple of interviews with drivers and navi's particularly at the end of stages. Particularly when someone has done something crowd pleasing or carnage worthy

I'm looking at producing a DVD of the event. It's purely not for profit as it's just a hobby of mine that i'm just getting into. Anyone that helps me out with cameraman duties or stars in the video will get a copy if they want it for a nominal sum to cover burning and postage.

youtube search rockcrawler31 for some of my vids. some of the early vids are pretty average as i've been slowly upgrading my camera gear and editing software.
