Feroza Sold

Post by Box Feroza »

Hey guys,

this is not technical nor its going to help anyone. I am just whinging that I have done a very very stupid thing.
I sold the Feroza.
Been loooking for something bigger and its all crap. So for those of you out there who might find the odd problem with your roza be happy
they are great.

Now looking for another Feroza. Here we go again with the mods.

Sorry about the moment of reflection.

Thanks.

another Feroza.... road car or offroad "play" ?
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

I have a work car. Just like my other one would be fine. F300 with 31x10.5
and all the other goodies I had.
Never considered a Rocky.
Turbo Diesel would be nice.

Something to consider.

Thanks guys.

Just as a matter of interest, what price did you get for it?

feroza looks good mate, I'm running 40mm tough dog springs in the back of mine with adjustable shocks and 2" body lift with 30" muddies. how did you go about getting 3" out of the suspension?

nice paj to :D

the leafs were custom made by dumbrells springs. thought about going higher with 50mm extended shackles and top and bottom ball joint spacers to gain another inch of lift for 32's. your front bar looks good. you should make some sliders and a rear tube bar similar as well to get rid of the ugly standard chunky rear bumper and decrease overhang.

Thanks for that mate yeah a tube rear bar with tyre carrier is getting planned right now and some sliders and scrub bars :) . With the 3" lift did you have any problems with the front end being wound up so high, did any tie rods or the idler arm keep getting worn out?

What do you reckon i should make the spacers out of? Ive looked around for extended shackles everywhere what would you reccomend I make those out of?
Will upper balljoint spacers allow me to gain lift?

Thanks heaps mate.

sorry for hijacking the thread.
the front is lower than the rear. kinda like an old school muscle car. tried winding the front up level with the rear, looked good but it ate the cv's after only 1 outing at the watagans so wound back down again. im no expert but i have measured the shackles on my mates sierra and they are the same length and width. unsure of the pin/bolt size though. so you should be able to use extended sierra shackles. they would also be very easy to make with 8-10mm thick steel flat bar. there is heaps of info on spacers on here. if you get stuck ask MM as he is very knowledgeable in all things feroza.
