High performance Clutch Turbo Diesel

Hi All,

Im in need of a new clutch for my GU, my 4 terrain clutch isnt coping with the amount of power i got now once i added more fuel and boost.

I have had a search but mainly found turbo petrol clutches, just see what the guys have used for Turbo Diesel GU patrols or GQ's for that matter

Something to cope with the HP and some towing.

any info appreciated.

contact smash250 on this forum, hes got a real decent one in his GU

I think it utilizes a custom Isuzu plate with 70% more clamping force.

I would personally go to nicks performance clutches in Queensland. They do the isuzu and one up from that which you have to re drill the flywheel. It is the strongest that you can get without going a puk clutch plate

sounds good however i should have mentioned im in melbourne.

Does anyone know what they roughly go for?

Im in Perth.

They go for around $900 delivered. you just need to take your flywheel and pressure plate to a machine shop to get re drilled, about $100

IMO cheap for what it is 3500psi of clamp

how much power are you making most of the time your clutch will slip after a big power upgrade if has not been changed.. an exedy HD should do it...

ive pretty much had 170rwkw for a while now... However put some more fuel to as my boost picked up i dont know what its got now however im noticing the difference.

I doubt an excedy will do it most guys are going for custom setups...

old boy had a pbr heavy duty in his rb30det

now he is running a custom excedy (built to his needs) with simular power figures to you, although not as much nm

i think i will just have to put a chev clutch in, should cope with the power...

get in touch with HG.. he has had clutches done for his Turbo V8 surf locally, Bayswater somewhere i believe.
