how much to turbo a gu?

roughly how much would it cost to put a turbo kit on a gu, wanting a decent setup, something will make 150kw or so. any recommendations and prices wouldbe handy

if your engine is good condition, then its going to cost you anywhere near 6 - 10g........

flywheel kilowatts. i thought it would have been covered so i did try and seach first but nothing at all came up in search, so had to ask the question

I'd be expectin cheaper than 10k for 150 flywheel... isnt that round 100/110 at wheels?..

10k should get you 150rwkw at least

just wack on a decent turbo wind the pump, most factory denco kits will get you around that figure....

anywhere from 2g - 4g

I assume everyone is assuming its a diesel?????

The latest 4wd action has an article on a 1HZ being turbo'd and it cost $8250 :shock: :shock: , thats more than my petrol turbo cost, :shock: :shock:

Deisel is sooooo much easier and to get a shop to do a basic install shouldnt be more than 5-6 grand, plus you will prob need a new heavy duty clutch, $1400 ish.

ball bearing gt28 turbo and water to air intercooler, you'l be smilin, should get this done around 6k all fitted and tuned,
water to air intercooler is a Must :)
