If you're a fat bastard like me Sam, a Defender is too bloody uncomfortable :x :x the seats are narrow, I don't like the idea of being wedged up against the door and the bloody handbrake is just awful to drive with.

I drove a couple of defenders, no thanks I like my Rangie classic.

Trav in Harleys County we pissed off the handbrake from the leg area and used one from a disco and mounted it next to the seat (he has no centre console) Right next to the B&M pro ratchet shifter. :D That with some better seats and you got no excuse. ;)

Defeder/county/series all can be made FC friendly tho are a far cry from the comfort of a RRC for a FC like me :D

Have to agree, especially on a summers day after a river crossing. It gets all tight, hot and moist.

The Rangie is now sold, was towed away on a trailer about an hours ago most likely heading off to that big 4WD track in the sky (was bought for parts pretty much).

Onto bigger and better things now :D
