Ok this is probably a stupid question but I am trying to work out what model sierra mine is the plates say sj 50 but it is a wide track it has a g13a engine like a sj50 but it has a 5 speed gear box it was built early 88 is it a sj 50 or a sj 70 or is it just a combo

sounds like an SJ50. There were a few made right on the crossover point ( mid '88) that were mix and match of NT and WT.

If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, chances are its a duck :D

what flares are on it?

Steel widetrack / plastic_rubber widetracks or narrow track ones?

SJ413 Type 4,5 SJ50 'Wide Track' w/G13A (88-7/89)
