syncro grinding into third after changing oil...

in 88 maverick TD42 the synchro is grinding into third on the way up and down through the gears. Has happened significantly more noticeable since changing diff oil recently. i think it was 75/80 (the synforce that was reccommeded by there books) that i put in this time... will lighter or heavier be more likely to help my syncro's out??

Castrol VMX 80 is the oil to use in Patrol 5 speeds.

Many have had similar problems, then they replace the oil with the Castrol the grinding stops.
