Silverstone extreme or simex extreme trekker
why? what is your reasoning? Just saying something is better is pretty meaningless... I personally think the Silverstone is far better, particularly for a light Suzuki; and all because of its softer more grippy rubber compound and more flexible side wall (not that the Simex is "bad" to say)hugezook wrote:in my opinion the simex is a better tyre. BUT i cant justify the price difference between the two. i would go for the silverstones >.<
So if the 33's are measuring 34.5 roughly now, what the hell are the 31's and 35's measuring?!?!
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.

i personally cant fault the silverstones yet they have awesome grip. The compound and design has been slightly modified and the tread itself is bigger and grippier then centepedes. I haven't let them down to see how they bag out yet. Much more aggressive then the centepedes aswell. My mate runs 33 pedes and thinks the silverstones appear a better tyre. I highly recommend them to anyone that isn't worried bout on road comfort and noise however be careful of the sizes as they are much bigger then the stamped size. Even the actual size listed on the site is wrong. I'd say allow atleast an inch over the size on the tyre
Sounds like the silverstone sizing is all over the shop and is just luck of the draw I guess. It shows their lack of quality control when compared to the simex's. If they were more reliable in their sizes I'd buy them as a pure offroad tyre over the simex's on a zook. That said though I think I'll go swampers next anyway.
