Hey guys need some help. Just bought a BJ70 in good nick, no rust to be seen except some in the drivers footwell (so I thought). Anyway turns out that thats there because of a rust hole in the bit where the winscreen wipers come out of. There are those grill bits below the window, we have taken the bonnet and that off and can see the rust hole (quite large) but they are not easily accessable, what is this part of the body called and is there any way to get to it?
Incase it doesnt make sense, water flows off windscreen through grills into gutter then just before it goes off the car there is a rust hole.
any help is appreciated!!

The area you are refering to is the plenum chamber. As for an easy fix that is not an option. If you strip your dash out a patch might be able to be welded in from underneath. Take it to a panel shop and get a quote would be your best bet.
