Looking at doin a 5.0 v8 conversion in a GQ without buying a new sump
and pickup.

Its a custom build, and i dont have my motor home yet to do mock-up :roll:

how far back the whole driveline has to go to clear the steering links and front diff etc?

Buy a HQ sump and pick-up..heaps easier....I still modified that to hold more oil also...Paul

yeah thats all i done when i put a 5L in a cruiser 253 or 308 will fit also just remember when you put the pick-up on make a new gasket for it i made the rookie mistake didnt put a new one on and i couldnt get oil to pick up so no oil getting to my valves
