Front axle specifications, 60 series and 80 series........

Post by flyology »

Can anyone tell me is there is a difference in spline and diameter on either end between 60 and 80 series axles? I realize there is a difference in length, just wondering if you can put and 80 series axle into a 60 series diff centre.....

Pretty sure you can, but a 60 diff wont fit into an 80 front housing.

80 series rear diff is the same as a 60 series rear diff but different ratio

80 series 4.11
60 series 4.1
