Raider motor

Post by HeathGQ »

Chasing a motor for a Raider.... for a friend.... overheated, and its stuffed. Anyone know where I can get one?

Apparently they are known for thermostat seizing and not allowing water to flow thorugh teh engine, and then BOOM... very quickly

Most Jap dismantlers should have them. They are a Mitsu G6 2.6lt engine. Mine has done over 244000 with only the plastic radiator header tank spliting (this is also common from around 210000km). If they lose the radiator don't get another one with the plastic header. They are $600 and a metal one brand new is only $300. :?

Oh yeah, hope they like replacing CVs, Ive done 3 in 4 weeks.
