I'll be flat out putting a bull bar on my truck and uncrumpling the guards to get it up to cruiser park just so I can watch.

no point entering anything. It's too slow. Unless there is there an award for most careful GQ wagon driver? I'll enter my missus and we'd win that for sure.

Anyone know what spectator prices etc will be for the weekend?

Good luck to all, Was hoping to make it down but have pressing work issues,(kicks foot on ground ) .Good to see Swaff and Roundy not having to bust thair bums before a comp for a change and to actually get some sleep.Hope Larco and old 383 (tooh, spits on ground) are ready for a good run just keep dabby away from any one in a blue uniform.Any one else from rocky good luck too.Cory has had a huge one and should be ready to rumble.Stadium Cross at night and I`m not there (throws himself on ground yells and crys, might of let a little bit of poop out.)Greeny when you get going your really gunna get it!! Ps I`m getting jc`s young fella to see if the grudge match boys can run with no bunting after the straight all the way to the jump, man I like that track.

Cheers Billy....

Well what a massive weekend! Congradulations to all the place getters , and my most congradulations to Roundie for taking the WIN in diesel class , We decided to nominate the car twice and performed well the whole weekend.. except for the tailshaft.... very happy with the performance and has proven to be consistent with times not far from the pointy end . Larco drove like a deamon the whole weekend and is getting better and better with each run . Corey with the new rig Proved he is going to be a force to be wreckoned with bit of bad luck with the front diff breaking a ring and pinion. Hutchie was out there racing a winch truck and proving to be stiff to beat driving the wheels off every chance he could get. A Big hats Off To all The CQ Drivers! Thanks to all the sponsors for the event , A Massive thanks to the time keepers/Marshalls It was very dusty , A big thanks to Alben And Helen And THANKS VERY MUCH NIFTY FOR THE TAILSHAFT MUCH APPRECIATED !! What a awsome weekend and i am counting down for the next one allready

coopers

Post by Dog Tyred Racing »

Well, I have to say we had fun for the first day of the first time I have done the Coopers Rally at LCMP. My friend Bryony (who most of you would know) is now my official navigator for these events – how cool is that. We had a great time and she is good at telling me where to go – LITERALLY! I had to take it easy though as I don’t have sway bars and I have a 7 inch lift. I’ll get some sway bars first for some more stability, but I don’t think I’ll drop her down as yet. I’m not in it to win it, just to have a good time, so I’ll play a bit and go from there. However I found out that stupid me put transmission fluid in the clutch reservoir instead of brake fluid which killed my clutch rendering me out of the competition after the first day cause I couldn’t get into gear. However, we first thought it was a friend of mine who did it because he told me he filled the clutch fluid as it was low, we found out however that he did put brake fluid in – it was me who put the transmission fluid in and the reason the reservoir was low was because it was being sucked into all the rubber bits within the master and slave cylinders and even the reservoir lid. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Anyways – my little truck has been collected from LCMP this morning and is being delivered to Craig at Superior for its fix up. I can’t wait for the next round at LCMP being 27th & 28th February 2010. Hope to see you there.

I had an awesome time in the 351 Patrol, even though I DNF'd on the first day with some broken bits.

And my apologies to Alben for the twenty metres of fenceline that i mowed down when I left the track at 120k's plus
