rims help

Post by prestage »

Guys! i have a super important issue i need to bring up :!: :!:

i have a Navara D22 2006 Diesel

i have a Iron man 2" lift kit and i bought some tires off the internet - Maxxis bighorn muds 265/10.5/15R, now the rims i got are black sunraysia's,

i went to fit them today the tire was fine and did not rub, however the rims are to small and the brake calipper rubs on the inside of the rim, and secondly the face were the rim sits on the hub is not flat it has a lip so it doesn't sit flush to the hub??

i was thinking of getting some 5MM spacers made as i believe this is the only way around it??

please give pros and cons

personally, i'd put the wheels and tyres on ebay, and buy some 16's not worth stuffing around with imo.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Spacers won't help the fact that you need minimum 16" rims to clear your brakes. Keep your eyes out on OL and eBay for some second hand sets if money is tight.
