Chev LS1 to Ford C4

Hi all,

i am trying to put a Ford C4 auto on a Chev LS1 engine.

Has somebody here done that already?

someone in the rover section has a c4 behind a chev, so half way there. think its a standard adapter

I just wounder because the converter in a Ford C4 is mounted on with four bolts. Chev and Rover using only three.

Hi again,

and what is about the converter size.
Do i have to use distance plates between trust plate and converter in the same thick than the adaptor plate?

I never had anything to do with automatics.
Just used them. :?

Ritters landrover used to do c4 conversions in rangies, not sure what they did about the 3/4 bolt converter. You could just get a 3 or 6 bolt converter made, its no big deal, just add more feet to it
