Is it O.K to drive and tow my van in low for a long time say 1 hour ??
I have moded the transfer so it is low 2wd this is to help when we go to Rainbow at easter. I was thinking as I can't drive much faster then 80 anyway When you turn of at Gympie I have had it up 80 kays on the dirt in overdrive my old Middie just doesn't have any guts to pull it up the hills when you can't go flat out pulling the van areound a bend and up a hill.

I'm assuming by your user name and you said middie, you have a MWB cruiser. Because it's part time 4wd, the drivetrain will be fine even if you haven't converted the transfer, just don't lock the front hubs.
Only problem I see is getting above about 65km/h without the engine revving its tits off.

---> insert witty remark here <---
No drama the overdrive is so tall it wouldn't, from memory it does 80 at about 2800 rpm I'll see how I gokrusty182 wrote:I'm assuming by your user name and you said middie, you have a MWB cruiser.
