Hey mate,

I priced up a 1HD-FTE the other day and it was $6600. Ud be looking at probably round $5500 for a 1HD-T. Thats a rough figure though. You might get one for less or more depending on who you know. If you can find one with low k's that would be the best bet. I'm rebuilding mine at the moment and its costing quite a bit.

What's wrong with your old motor that it needs a rebuild. If people know it will help give an idea on a rebuild cost cause a motor that has spun a main bearing and has been driven long enough to damage the crank is obviously going to cost more than a motor that is just tired.

You may also find that finding a good secondhand 1hdt is a bit hard.

My 1HDT is tired with blow by and a good oil leak at the back of the head. Need to remove head and while i'm at fit new rings and bearings to make pulling it apart worth while. Any idea what new bearings cost for the bottom end? Engine is still running well at just under 300k's but want to freshen it up but only doing what needs to be done.

Hi Guys.

I went through the whole process of rebuilding the 1hdt, the turbo and the pump. Lot's of $$$$ spent.
Now I've got the horsepower bug (I want an LS2) and will be selling the complete engine, turbo, pump and accessories, eg. alternator ps pump etc. EVERYTHING!!!
Also have custom front mount intercooler all receipts of work.
Engine is smooth and runs like a dream. Has down about 20,000km's will have to check reciepts to be exact.
Has brand new crank from toyota as part of rebuild.
I'm chasing $5,800 for the lot. will bolt straight in. $6,500 with gearbox and heavyduty clutch.
It was dynoed by PGS and made 98rwkw's on 35's.
